Decor Plus was appointed to carry out painting and floor works within an industrial plant room in Lancashire.
Scope of Works
The works focused on the plant room floor, which was prepared and painted to give a clean, hard-wearing surface around the plant and equipment. A plant room is a tight, working space, so the areas between and around the fixed plant, pipework and services needed particular care to achieve an even finish across the whole floor.
The surface was thoroughly prepared before painting so the new finish would bond well and last. Work was carried out carefully around the fixed equipment, with safe working practices and a clean, tidy working area maintained from the start of the project to the end.

The completed painting works left the plant room with a clean, even and professional floor finish that makes the space easier to keep tidy and maintain. The work was carried out with careful attention to preparation, workmanship and the demands of an industrial setting.
Industrial spaces bring their own challenges, with fixed plant, restricted access and health and safety requirements to consider. The approach focused on working safely around the equipment and completing the painting works to the required standard, from first preparation to final coat.
